Align Minimalist Pen (2014) by Beyond Object on Kickstarter

When we decided to design a pen, our main goal was to do something new, something different. After 5 long months of research, design, and development we found what we were looking for, a completely unique mechanism designed inside a clean and elegant design. All at an affordable price.

Align’s body is divided into three parts, being the middle one unaligned. To use the pen you only need to intuitively align this part with the rest of the body. Yes, it’s that simple, and that cool. 

The shorter version works the same way. This model is divided into two parts instead of three. To use the pen you would have to align these two parts. To close it you just have to un-align it again.
